1. Shawn Michaels - HBK will always be my favorite wrestler. He may be a small guy by industry standards, but his larger than life “it factor” has always inspired me. There’s a reason he is The Icon.
2. Bret Hart - I could watch Bret work a match with almost anybody and be impressed. He is one of the, if not THE, most technically sound wrestlers I’ve ever laid eyes on. I can only dream to one day possess a fraction of the talent that Hitman does.
3. Ricky Steamboat - Ricky’s match at WrestleMania III against Macho Man for the IC Championship epitomizes wrestling to me. It’s the main reason the Intercontinental Championship is my favorite title, what made me truly fall in love with wrestling. and inspired me to pursue it as my profession.
4. CM Punk - Ever since I first laid eyes on Punker I always said he was one of “my guys.” His devil-may-care attitude, the way he defends what he believes in, his flawless promos, and his envy worthy in-ring skills are just a few of the reasons that I love CM Punk.
5. Chris Jericho - What can I say? Jericho is the best in the world at what he does. He has this uncanny ability to have his finger on the pulse of his audience and know exactly what they want, exactly how to gain heat from them, and exactly how to get over with them.
